1Agreement to these terms

These Terms & Conditions ("Terms") are an agreement between you and SlimFit Formula ("SlimFit," "we," "us") governing your use of the SlimFit mobile app and its home-screen widgets (together, the "Service"). By creating an account or using SlimFit, you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you don't agree, please don't use the Service.

2Who can use SlimFit

You must be at least 13 years old to create a SlimFit account. If you're between 13 and 18, we recommend using the app with a parent or guardian's awareness — SlimFit applies extra safeguards for this age range, described in §4 and in our Privacy Policy §8, including disabling weight-loss goals and giving more conservative AI coach guidance. By using SlimFit, you confirm that the age range you provide during setup is accurate.

3Your account

You're responsible for the accuracy of the information you provide, and for keeping your sign-in credentials secure. You may sign in with a phone number, an email and password, or a Google account. One account per person, please — don't create an account on someone else's behalf without their permission, and don't share your account.

You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account; see our Privacy Policy §7 for what that does.

4Not medical advice

The "SlimFit Coach" AI feature is built with instructions not to diagnose, prescribe, or suggest calories below your set target, and to steer sensitive topics toward professional care instead of advice. Even so, AI-generated output can be wrong or poorly suited to your situation — treat every recommendation as a starting point to think about, not an instruction to follow.

5Calorie, BMI, and activity estimates

The calorie values, BMI calculations, distance, and calories-burned figures shown in SlimFit are estimates based on general formulas and the information you provide (height, weight, food selections, phone sensor data). They will not exactly match your body's real metabolism or a clinical measurement, and shouldn't be treated as precise. Food calorie values draw on the Tanzania Food Composition Tables and other general references, matched to the closest listed food — actual values for a specific meal can vary.

6Acceptable use

When using SlimFit, you agree not to:

• Use the Service for anything illegal, or in a way that could harm SlimFit, other users, or third parties;
• Attempt to reverse-engineer, decompile, or extract the app's source code beyond what applicable law allows;
• Interfere with or disrupt the Service, including its servers or the networks connected to it;
• Misuse the AI coach — for example, prompting it for content unrelated to your health and fitness data, or trying to get it to bypass its safety guidance;
• Impersonate another person, or create an account using someone else's phone number or email without permission; or
• Scrape, resell, or redistribute SlimFit's content — including the Tanzania food database compiled in the app — outside the app.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

7Your content

You keep ownership of the information you enter into SlimFit — your profile, food log, notes, and so on ("your content"). By using the Service, you give us permission to store, process, and display your content back to you as needed to run the app — for example, showing your food log history, or including your logged meals in an AI coach request as described in our Privacy Policy §4.1. We don't use your content for anything beyond providing and improving SlimFit.

8Third-party services

SlimFit is built on several third-party services, each governed by its own terms: Firebase and Google Cloud (Google LLC) for authentication, data storage, notifications, and the Gemini AI model; Google Sign-In, if you choose to use it; and Textify, our SMS delivery partner for phone verification and the optional daily summary text. We aren't responsible for outages, errors, or changes in these third-party services that affect SlimFit's availability.

9The app is free

SlimFit is currently free to download and use, with no in-app purchases or subscriptions. If we introduce paid features in the future, we'll present their own terms and pricing clearly before you're asked to pay for anything, and this section will be updated.

10Disclaimers

SlimFit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied — including that the Service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or perfectly accurate. We work to keep the app reliable, but sensor readings (like step counts), GPS accuracy, and third-party services outside our control mean SlimFit can't guarantee precision or continuous availability.

11Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent allowed by applicable law, SlimFit Formula is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service — including reliance on calorie, BMI, or activity estimates, or on AI-generated recommendations. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that can't legally be limited, such as liability for our own gross negligence or intentional misconduct.

12Termination

You may stop using SlimFit and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service if you violate these Terms, or discontinue the Service (or features of it) with reasonable notice where practical. Sections that by their nature should survive termination — including §4 (Not medical advice), §10 (Disclaimers), and §11 (Limitation of liability) — will continue to apply.

13Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. We'll update the "Last updated" date above and post the revised Terms at this same page; for significant changes, we'll also notify you in the app. Continuing to use SlimFit after a change takes effect means you accept the updated Terms.

14Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Republic of Tanzania, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, except where applicable local law in your country requires otherwise.
